Our dreams are big…

There is a long list of items to tackle, a new roof, new doors, exterior renovations, as well as the hope to address aesthetic issues that prevent hall rentals. The current ceiling has seen better days - we hope to raise funds to replace it as well as painting the interior of the hall.

Community support for this fundraising campaign is vital and we hope you will be inspired to contribute. It’s often surprising how much can be achieved when there is dedication and commitment to a cause as important as preserving and restoring our cherished community institution, the Amaral-Bailey American Legion, Post 113.

We’d like to renovate the restrooms such that they serve everyone.

The current restrooms are in poor shape and often in disrepair. The plumbing has to be addressed and it is our goal to renovate the bathrooms to meet ADA codes such that they serve all populations.

The exterior currently features a large, uneven, and unlit asphalt surface. Our goal is to remove the asphalt and replace it with an appropriately sized pathway as well as lighting, both installed with safety in mind. If funds allow, we hope to create a memorial garden complete with a bench, shrubbery and newly placed American flag pole to serve as a ceremonial venue and to honor the Veterans who have served us so selflessly.
